You must comply with all requirements of the Immigration Authorities at all times. On receipt of the Application fees, IBAS will provide written confirmation of your enrolment. During your program, if you need to extend your Visa to continue your study with us, you are responsible to ensure that the extension is obtained. IBAS or IBAS’s partners will provide you with the appropriate documents only if you comply with these Terms & Conditions.
If IBAS or an IBAS partner is of the opinion that you do not intend to follow our program or you are not able to study, we may not allow you to enroll in our program.
APPLICATION AND TUITION FEE
You need to ensure that you have sufficient time to apply and obtain a Visa ( if you are required a visa to stay). You must pay all required Tuition fee, Application fee and any other additional fees in full amount before the date of your admission.
Once paid, Tuition Fee and Application Fee cannot be transferred as a benefit to other students. Tuition fee does not include materials or services you might require during your study e.g. textbooks, etc.
Application Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
ADMINISTRATION OF PROGRAMS
If you fail to Enroll or fail to complete your program, you will be excluded from your program without a transfer to another program or refund.
If you wish to change the date of admission, you should report to the Enrollment Department at least two months in advance. In such a case, you might have to pay the difference between tuition fee paid and tuition fee of your preferred date of admission plus an Administration charge of 100 USD.
To register for a program, simply complete the Enrollment Form and send it to our national representative. Alternatively you can enrol by sending an email to email@example.com. You will receive email confirmation of your registration and an invoice for your fees.
Student visa: please attach a copy of your passport.
Students who wish to apply for a Student visa will be required to fill in other forms and provide further supporting documents in line with the Visas and Immigration regulation at the time of the registration. Please contact us for more details.
Our schools require students to have adequate health, accident and travel insurance while attending our school. Our schools reserve the right to require proof of insurance and, where the proof is not available, students must immediately purchase at least one-week insurance from IBAS. IBAS reserves the right to claim this cost from uninsured students, and during this one week students must purchase insurance for their entire stay in Switzerland. Uninsured students will not be given access to classes until proof of insurance is available and will not be refunded for loss of lessons.
Students going to Switzerland: In accordance with Visas and Immigration guidelines, we require payment of fees in full prior to issuing a visa letter of Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS). Students must notify IBAS immediately in the case of refusal or any changes to their status.
Refusal: If you fail to obtain your visa, you will receive a refund of the total amount except the CHF 500 administration fee only after we receive written documentation from the consulate on your visa denial. Please note that there will also be a charge of one week’s homestay accommodation fees for any cancellation or postponement notified less than 14 days before the start of the program. Specific terms will apply to residential accommodation.
SCHOLARSHIP STUDENTS – ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS
Students who receive partial scholarships from IBAS and wish to withdraw at any time before they complete their program, need to pay the full program fees before stopping their participation in the program.
Scholarships are normally given to students who are deserving or in financial need. Therefore, scholarship students should respect the privilege that they have taken up from another needy student and comply with all scholarship rules.
Students must inform IBAS of any mental or physical condition, allergy, or disability that may interfere with the completion of their program, affect the health and well-being of others or require special accommodation or treatment. IBAS will not be responsible in case of any misrepresentation or willful omission of information on the student’s part.
IBAS is happy to give advice to disabled students and to assist them in choosing a program that will meet their requirements. In order to assist we must, at the time of registration, be provided with full details in writing regarding any disability and any special requirements as a result of the disability.
The company reserves the right to change details of its services, including programs, facilities, locations and course dates where circumstances beyond the company’s control necessitate such changes, or where the number of enrollment is not enough to operate a course viably. External Classroom – during busy periods, students may be taught off-site. Further details will be available during orientation.
EXAM COURSES AND EXAM FEES
Exam fees or other costs related to exams and official tests are not included in the fees.
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS AND OUR TERM DATES
Relevant dates can be found on the respective country’s embassy website. Schools do not make up for lessons missed on Published Public Holidays and there is no refund for lessons missed.
All holidays must follow individual school plans.

RESOLUTION OF DISPUTES
In the event of a dispute between a student and the school, procedures are in place to facilitate the resolution of the dispute. Complaints should first be made to the school Principal or centre Manager. Each complaint will be fully investigated provided that it is received within 30 days of the course ending date and all fees have been paid. If the matter is not resolved, the student should complain in writing to the IBAS head office.
The student must attend a minimum of 80% of their classes otherwise they may lose their place on the program. No refund will be given and where applicable the Home office will be informed. A student who does not meet the attendance requirement will not receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the course. It is the responsibility of the student to inform the school of all illnesses and absences.
Accommodation is subject to availability. Other accommodation options may be available on request; please contact us for more details. All accommodation charges must be paid to IBAS directly and all prices are for per person and per month unless stated otherwise.
DEPOSIT AND DAMAGE OF PROPERTY
In the event of damage to the school’s property, students must pay the full cost. Student’s booking residential accommodation may be required to pay a deposit on arrival. The deposit will be returned upon the student’s departure provided there is no damage, loss or extra cleaning to be paid for.
CHANGES TO PROGRAMMES AND STUDENT BEHAVIOR
If IBAS cancels a program after a student’s enrollment, IBAS will refund all monies already paid by the student. However, we reserve the right to suspend or expel a student without the refund of fees for misconduct of behaviour that repeatedly upsets the harmony of the school.
IBAS will not be responsible for any costs incurred by or on behalf of the student as a result of causes beyond our reasonable control. Such causes shall include but shall not be limited to riot, war, a threat of war, civil strike, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, unusually adverse weather conditions and infectious diseases.
CANCELLATION, REDUCTION OR SHORTENING OF PROGRAM AFTER ARRIVAL
Students with visa: Students who require a visa are not able to shorten or reduce the number of lessons of their program due to the terms of their visa.
Students applying for IBAS regional centres in Egypt and Kuala Lumpur have the option to apply to another IBAS partner program without loss of tuition fee. No refund of prepaid fees or deposits is given.
Application fees are non-refundable. Bank fees and charges will be deducted. Please always send fees to cover all bank charges.
Accommodation fees: Accommodation is paid with one month deposit and 6 months rental fees paid each 6 months.
No refund or credit will be offered for students who wish to change or cancel the program after payment. For students who require visa, refund is only provided when visa application is not approved. For a non-visa student, no refund is given for paid fees.
Any refund due will be paid to the person or organization who originally paid the fees and will be made within 45 calendar days of written confirmation (not counting public holidays).
IBAS will only provide refund if the visa application is refused, provided that:
IBAS has received full payment of Tuition Fees, Applications Fees and additional fees.
You are required to send to IBAS refusal document from Immigration Authorities, stating refusal reasons.
You will not be entitled for refund if your visa application is refused due to your own mistakes in that you have not followed the visa procedures when applying for a visa, including the submission of fraudulent documents.
IBAS will not provide a refund once you have obtained a visa but decide not to Enroll in the program.
IBAS will make a refund directly to the student or partner/agent that made the payment.
Application Fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
IBAS is not responsible for any refusal of visa cases. If the Visa refusal is due to our fault, we will refund full tuition fee and help you to re-apply. No additional compensation will be given.

A refundable deposit of CHF2000 will be charged for Tuition Fee at the time of registration by MGW
100% refund of all fees and the deposit, if 3 months or more notice is given by signed form to IBAS before the programme starts , (or if a student’s visa is refused).
50% refund of all fees and the deposit , if between 2 and 3 months notice is given by signed form to IBAS before the programme starts.
10% refund of all fees and the deposit if between 1 and 2 months notice is given by signed form to IBAS before the programme starts.
0% refund of all fees and the deposit received after the programme starts.
All refunds will be made with 30 days of notification of cancellation from the student.
In the case of serious illness, it’s allowed to defer until the healing of the illness. No refund of the paid deposit is given in this case.
This refund policy will apply from 1.1.2020 onwards
Flight details including date and time of arrival, flight numbers, airline and airport terminal must be advised 7 days prior to arrival. Students requesting an airport pick-up should also provide their mobile number including the international area code. Airport pick-up fees include a maximum of 1 hour waiting time. In the event of a delay exceeding 1 hour, students will be charged an additional fee. If there are 3 students travelling on the same flight, a shared pick-up can be requested (please add USD 10 for each extra passenger and USD 10 for each extra drop off).
For those students who have booked an airport pick-up on arrival, we will send an Arrival Transfer Confirmation to reconfirm the student’s flight details and arrival time. Students who have requested a departure transfer should speak to our School Administrators a few days before departure in order to agree on a pickup time and collect their Departure Transfer Confirmation.
All program/tuition fees must be paid in full at least 14 days before your program/module start date. In the case of late registration, you should pay immediately with your enrollment form in order to secure a place on the program.

Only bank transfers to IBAS Bank account are accepted. Fees are paid in either USD, CHF, GBP or Euro.
All bank charges must be paid in advance by the sender. Please send a copy of the transfer document to IBAS with all payments and specific details: Student’s name, Center, Date of payments and Invoice number.
CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE
IBAS reserves rights to expel a student from the program for unacceptable behaviour or lack of attendance. No refund will be made once you are expelled from your program.
If you intentionally or negligently damage the school’s property, you might have to pay the full cost of repairing or replacing that property.
IBAS will not be responsible for any property loss or damage that arises out of or in connection with the consequence of your usage of IBAS premises.
IBAS will not be liable for the safekeeping and delivery of any post sent to you at IBAS campus.
QUERIES AND COMPLAINTS
You should report to the Admission Department of IBAS on any issues that make you feel unhappy with the programs such as lecturers, exams, school facilities etc. IBAS always listens to our students and continuously try to improve our services for them
